BRIDGE HEAD INN - TIMES BEACH

EUREKA, MISSOURI

 

 

Built in 1935 this building is now the headquarters for the Route 66 State Park. An interesting note about Times Beach is that the whole town was condemned by the federal government. This due to a toxic material being sprayed on the gravel roads to control dust. All the original buildings are now gone. Another interesting note about this card. An identical post card like this sold for $238 on eBay in November 2002. Cheryl did not buy this card on eBay and it cost no where near $238!
