COZY DOG DRIVE IN - SPRINGFIELD, ILLINOIS

The late Ed Waldmire is credited with inventing the corn dog. This building is now gone and rebuilt nearby. His son Bob has been a good friend for years. Bob Waldmire is a renowned artist. His hand-crafted postcards and posters are famous far and wide. Cheryl and I met Bob at his old restored gas station in Hackberry Arizona many years ago. He has now relocated back to his native Illinois.
